Hi,
I am 2016. Oh, Yeah! I know, I know. You’re SO over me. You lost favorite celebrities. Your Samsung Galaxy exploded. You got really tired of Pokemon Go really fast. The planet
continued warming at an alarming rate. The civil war in Syria, which has now claimed about a half million lives , raged on. The gun violence epidemic persisted unabated causing 14,748 have been killed in the U.S. Several extra-judicial shootings of black people occurred. And the constitutional mechanism intended stop Trump from seizing presidential power ensured his victory instead (no hard feelings intended). But look a little closer. I was also all kinds of awesome – in ways that left you a better place.
