It’s Sunday! Time to kick back, relax, and have some fun.
Brrr…baby it’s cold outside. But that doesn’t stop a lot of people (and animals) from still getting out there and having some fun.
Do you all really know
How fun it is to play in the snow?
Sure it is pretty cold
But the joy it brings never gets old…
It’s Sunday! Time to kick back, relax, and start the holiday season.
Christmas songs on the radio, stores are stocked with gift items, movies and specials are on tv, and peppermint mochas are available at your favorite coffee shop. The holiday season has officially begun. Are you ready for it?
I don’t get into the Christmas spirit until after Thanksgiving. One holiday at a time please. But after Thanksgiving then I am in it 100%! It really is my favorite time of the year!
The day after Thanksgiving is Black Friday…ugh. I want nothing to do with it. I would much rather…read more.
It’s Sunday! Time to kick back, relax, and put a spotlight on seniors.
November is “Adopt A Senior Pet Month” and I just couldn’t let November end without doing a post. But I wanted to do a post about seniors in general.
We start off this life depending on others to care for us and we often end this life depending on this very same thing. But there is a difference. When we’re a baby we’re seen as cute and lovable. When we’re old we’re often seen as not so cute and annoying.
It’s Sunday! Time to kick back, relax, and be thankful for friends.
We all have our highs and our lows in life. If you read my post from last Sunday then you know I’m kind of at a low right now. But during this low I’ve been feeling love & support around me from some people that I didn’t even know cared. I don’t know where I’d be without them. Then there are politics, the state of our country, so much violence, all the negative news reports, etc., etc., etc. It can all make you crazy!
I‘ve been reading a book for work called “Managing Emotional Mayhem.” According to what I read…

It’s Sunday! Time to kick back, relax, and reminisce. Do you ever think back to when you first met your pet?
There were no special circumstances in my meeting Cino. I saw her on a Humane Society website and decided to drive over there and meet her. She was shy and aloof but after she made eye contact with me for the first time and let out a MEOW, that was it!

Time to kick back, relax, and enjoy some poetry.
I wrote a poem to go along with what I think is an adorable photo of Cino that I recently got with my new camera. I hope you enjoy it. 🙂
IT MIGHT BE AN ANGEL
When I look at that sweet face
I see an angel among this place
For me the word “just” doesn’t exist
Your needs are always high on my list
