Sea Salt Tahini Chocolate Chip Cookies

Inspired by a David Leibovitz recipe, these cookies are nutty in flavor, chewy, and full of chocolate chip cookies.  What makes these cookies stand out?  The sesame seeds each cookie is rolled in.

Cinnamon and Sugar Muffins

When I first made these muffins by Ree Drummond, I was immediately brought back to my childhood.  I loved making and devouring cinnamon and sugar toast. These, like my toasts, are buttery and covered in a hefty layer of cinnamon and sugar.  Since Ree’s muffins are a bit on the sweet side, I adapted the recipe to my preferences.  They are a great breakfast, mid-morning snack, mid-afternoon snack, dinner, dessert, mid-night snack, or really anytime of the day snack.  I promise they will make you very happy.

Pregnancy Update 34 Weeks

It’s official: I’m in full waddle mode.  I reached 34 weeks this past Friday, which means I’m a little more than a month away from meeting baby Shelledy.  Apparently, he’s the size of a butternut squash, which my uterus and bladder would fully agree with.

Company Potatoes

I grew up eating these company potatoes.  My mom would make them for the holidays or for birthday celebrations.  Considering how tasty this dish is, you would think it would be harder to make.  I actually made this as a side dish for my wedding dinner.  Everyone I make them for raves about them, so I suggest adding this recipe to your repertoire ASAP!
