Summertime often means long-awaited vacations and holiday excursions to take us away from the real world and give us a chance to relax and unwind. It has been no different for me. Recently I took a vacation to sunny Tampa, Florida, and I found myself in situations of which I would never dream. I learned some valuable life lessons that I can use, not just on vacation, but also to my life beyond the sandy beach. Below are six life lessons my vacation taught me. Don’t go anywhere until you read them first.

How to Find Happiness With the Three C’s.

Wayne Gretzky, former Hockey player and NHL Hall of Famer, said, “You miss 100% of the shots you don’t take.” In other words, if you don’t even try to reach a goal, you will always fail.  The shots or chances you take, perhaps at battling a mental health issue, overcoming negative thinking, or accomplishing some other personal goal, will only happen if you take a shot in the metaphorical game.  There is a simple formula that can help you accomplish whatever you want in life.  They are called the Three Cs.  Choice.  Chance.  Change. You have to make the choice to take a chance to make a change.
