Today we take a look back at Jack. Jack is a little dog that was found in a dumpster by a little boy. Sadly, this happens more than you think. Honestly, how can people be so cruel?
I wrote a tale about Jack back in October. Kathy, Jack’s pet parent, recently shared some photos of Jack. I decided to share them with you and give you a link to Jack’s tale.
Below is Jack happy to have tummy time. 🙂

The Tale Of Tammy and Her Love for Animals
Many of us can relate to feeling like our house is not a home without a pet. Well this is most certainly true for Tammy.
Tammy is a friend of mine and one of the reasons we get along is our shared love for animals! We have had a number of conversations where we expressed our mutual anger for those who harm animals. I have known her for about seven years or so and just in the time I have known her, there have been many pets she has given a home.
First we have Teesha who passed away in 2008.

The Tale of Lal Mahon
Today’s tale is continuing with the theme of honoring a pet that has passed away. This tale is about Lal Mohan who passed away at only two years old from a snake bite. This was very devastating for her family.

This Tuesday Tale is a little different. I would like to start off with a tale about Judith. Please watch the video below.
This month teachers are celebrated and shown appreciation for what they do for children. Some of you know that I work around children and today Chipotle Restaurant was offering “Buy One, Get One.” A deal only for teachers. I came home with a veggie burrito and a veggie salad. Mmm, mmm, good! Dinner taken care of.
Is this post seeming to be all over the place? Well, there is a point and hopefully I’ll pull it all together.

The tale of Blue
This is the tale of Blue. She lived on the beach following people around begging for affection until one day somebody finally rescued her.
I am a big fan of stories about rescued animals and I have been finding out there a lot of them. This makes me really, really happy! The part that makes me sad is that it seems there were so many other people who just “left her.” We would never do that if we saw a child on the beach alone. Why is it “ok” to leave a dog, that apparently has no “pet parent”, by itself on the beach?

Do you have a rescue story you can share with me?
The tale of Pearl told by Lesley
I saw the story of Pearl on another blog and I thought it was so incredible, I just had to share it. It seemed easiest to reblog it.
Thank you so much Lesley for letting me share this story. Pearl is absolutely beautiful and it crushes me to think about what she went through before she made her way to you. Looking at these beautiful photographs of her, I can see she is now in good hands.

Animals Saving People
The New Year is almost here and I thought it appropriate to review some great animal stories. They are not necessarily just from 2016.
What I love about these stories is that not only are they about animals saving human lives, but that there is such a variety of animals. There are cats, dogs, a horse, pig, goat, whale, bird, and elephant. I was tearing up reading these stories because, to me, this shows that ALL animals are sweet, precious, loving, feeling beings.
I also was tearing up because I was thinking about how there are actually people out there who hurt these precious beings. I recently saw a post on Facebook about how some teenage boys “rented” a goat from a lady and how they abused him, smashing beer cans on his head.
